Bertram Sutton Evans (17 December, 1872 – 2 March, 1919) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Evans was a noted cricket-player, batting right-handed.

He served as captain of the battleship Implacable from March to July, 1917.

He served as captain of Leviathan from April to December 1918.

He was appointed command of the first class protected cruiser Europa on 13 January, 1919,[1] but died in Paris while travelling to assume command.
