James Burns ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Lieutenant R.N.R. Burns was appointed to the second class protected cruiser Fox on 14 October, 1918.[1] He may have become senior officer aboard upon the departure of Herbert Arthur Buchanan-Wollaston around March, 1919 and prior to the appointment of Captain Edward Altham on 1 April, 1919.
