H.M.S. Skirmisher was one of eight Sentinel class Scout Cruisers completed for the Royal Navy in 1905.

Service

As part of the Channel Fleet, Skirmisher started a refit in Devonport in August 1908, after Battle Practice.[8]

Skirmisher re-commissioned at Chatham on 1 July, 1913 for manoeuvres, destined for Seventh Destroyer Flotilla afterward.[9]
