Service
Danae was fitted with a director upon her commissioning in June, 1918.[7]
She re-commissoned at Chatham on 5 January, 1923 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[8]
Re-commissioned at Chatham on 10 September, 1925 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron, this time on the China Station.[9]
Re-commissioned at Chatham on 17 April, 1928 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[10]
Danae was re-commissioned at Devonport on 6 August, 1930 under the command of Eric Ritchie Bent for service with the Eighth Cruiser Squadron on the America and West Indies Station,[11] remaining so employed until at least early 1933.[12]
Commissioned at Portsmouth on 25 August, 1936.[13]
