H.M.S. Vendetta was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Vendetta was commissioned on 4 October, 1917[6] and was assigned to the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla that same month.[7]

She was re-commissioned on 6 June, 1924 at Portsmouth for service with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[8]

Vendetta was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 25 January, 1927 at Portsmouth for service with the First Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[9]

Paid off into Dockyard Control at Chatham on 1 October, 1930.[10]
