H.M.S. Vehement was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

In October, 1917, Vehement joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla.[6]

In June 1918, she transferred to the Twentieth Destroyer Flotilla, operating out of the Humber.[7]

She and Ariel were lost to mines on the night of 1 August, 1918.
