Nicholas Edward Archdale ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Archdale was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1902.[1]
Archdale was appointed Lieutenant & Commander of the sloop Rosario and for command of the Hong Kong Submarine Flotilla on 24 April, 1911.[2]
Archdale was appointed in command of the scout cruiser Patrol on 1 January, 1919.[3]
On 28 February, 1919, he was appointed in command of the depot ship Greenwich.[4]
He was appointed in command of the light cruiser Ceres in February, 1924.[5]
In December, 1928, he was appointed in command of the battleship Malaya.[6]
