Lieutenant-Commander Eric Langton Woodhall, M.V.O., D.S.O. (16 December, 1899 – 21 June, 1940) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Woodhall was a special entrant to the navy.
Woodhall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December 1921.
Woodhall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1929.
Woodhall was killed while commanding the Q-ship H.M.S. Prunella when she was torpedoed and lost.
