Captain R.N.R. Thomas Edward Coombs, O.B.E., R.D. (10 September, 1884 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 29 June, 1911.[1]
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 29 June, 1919. He was demobilised in November, 1919.[2]
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1923.[3]
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 30 June, 1930. In 1948, he reported that he was living in Sussex, fit for shore service only in the event of a general mobilisation.[4]
