H.M.S. Buzzard was one of four Nymphe Class screw sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
In late March 1896, Buzzard left Nassau for Bermuda, being relieved by the composite screw sloop H.M.S. Pelican under Commander Arthur John Horsley.[6]
In 1911, Buzzard relieved H.M.S. President, and was renamed President on 1 April, 1911.
