H.M. T.B. 31 (1885)
Builder: Yarrow & Company[1]
Yard Number: 709[2]
Ordered: 30/31 March, 1885[3]
Launched: 1885[4]
Sold: 1913[5]

H.M. T.B. 31 was one of 53 first-class torpedo boats of the 125 Footer class.

Construction

Service

Commissioned as tender to Template:UK-2Valorous in June 1886 for flotilla manoeuvres.[6][7]

In 1895, she was one of four first-class torpedo boats stationed at Bermuda.[8]

Around 1906-1907, with the issuance of torpedo boat numbers to the first of the Cricket class torpedo boats, the existing Torpedo Boats numbered 25 to 79 had a "0" prepended to their number. This vessel, therefore, became T.B. 031.[9]

Captains

Dates of appointment are provided when known.
