Captain (retired) John Angus Scott, R.N. (19 July, 1884 – 25 October, 1932) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Wimledon. Scott ranked twenty-fifth among 62 successful candidates in examinations for entry to the Britannia intake term of September 1899, with 2333 marks.[1]
Scott was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in October, 1906.
Scott was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in October, 1914.
Scott was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1918.
Scott was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 17 September, 1930.
