Lieutenant Henry Archibald Carruthers, R.N. (22 April, 1874 – 5 June, 1904) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Carruthers listed a woman whose name is illegible as his guardian upon joining the H.M.S. Britannia in July, 1887.[1]

Carruthers was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1896.[2]

Carruthers died of tuberculosis-related issues while in an appointment as flag lieutenant to Rear-Admiral Grenfell in H.M.S. Albion on the China Station.[3]
