H.M.S. Adventure was a minelaying cruiser completed for the Royal Navy in 1926.
There was also a scout cruiser named Adventure launched in 1904.
Service
Commissioned at Devonport on 6 May, 1927.[1]
She re-commissioned at Devonport with a special three-fifths complement on 3 May, 1932 before coming to full complement on 5 July, 1932.[2]
She re-commissioned at Devonport on 28 December, 1933.[3]
Re-commissioned at Devonport on 17 June, 1936.[4]
Adventure sustained heavy damage when she struck a German destroyer-laid mine on the night of 12/13 November 1939.
