Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. William Harmer Brown (2 September, 1890 – 17 July, 1934) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Brown was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 September, 1916.[1]
Brown was appointed Lieutenant, R.N.R. in Command of the destroyer Albacore on 12 September, 1918.[2]
Brown was demobilised 20 October 1919, one day after relinquishing command of the minesweeper Elgin.[3]
Brown was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 September, 1924.[4]
Brown was removed from the Navy List on 23 May, 1929 due to non-Sea Service and non-Report. He died in Auckland, New Zealand in mid 1934.
