Rowland Owen Lloyd

Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) Rowland Owen Lloyd (30 April, 1880 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve. He spoke Spanish and Hindustani.[1]

Life & Career

Lloyd was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 August, 1915.[2]

Lloyd was appointed in command of the destroyer Mallard on 25 March, 1918.[3] He may have been temporarily replaced in command due to poor health in October/November 1918.[4]

Lloyd was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 3 July, 1919.[5]

Lloyd was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 August, 1923.[6]
