Commander Lionel Henry Shore, (18 November, 1882 – 31 May, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Captain Henry N. Shore, R.N..
Shore was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1903.
Shore was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1911.
Shore was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1915.
Shore was appointed to the battlecruiser H.M.S. Invincible as Navigating Officer for the Test Mobilisation in July 1914 and died when she was lost at the Battle of Jutland.
