Lieutenant-Commander Leonard Hubert Lindner, (23 April, 1883 – 31 May, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Lindner entered the Royal Navy with the January, 1897 intake term at H.M.S. Britannia, passing in 5th in order of merit with 1553 marks in the competitive entrance examinations.[1]
Lindner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1904.
Lindner was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1912.
Lindner was appointed to the battlecruiser H.M.S. Indefatigable as navigator on 5 December, 1913 and died when she was lost at the Battle of Jutland.
