Captain (retired) Robert Hugh Archer, (25 August, 1852 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Archer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 June, 1872.

Archer was promoted to the rank of Commander on 12 September, 1892. He woudl serve in the Coast Guard in the following years.

Archer was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 25 August, 1900.
