Lieutenant Edmund Grindall Festing, ( – 26 September, 1913) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Festing was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 5 September, 1867.[1]
Festing had to be removed from command of the composite gunboat Decoy in early 1883 to be treated at Malta for delirium tremens.[2]
He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 14 July 1885, seemingly at the rank of Commander.[3]
