Captain (retired) Henry Thurston Wake Pawsey, O.B.E. (17 May, 1892 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of a retired Royal Navy person, possibly a Paymaster Charles J. Pawsey.
Pawsey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1914.[1]
Pawsey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 August, 1922.[2]
Pawsey was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1928.[3]
World War II
Pawsey was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain on 17 May, 1942.[4]
Reverted to Retired List on 14 January, 1947.[5]
