Admiral Philip Francis Tillard, Royal Navy, Retired (17 September, 1852 – 23 February, 1933) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Tillard was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1895.[1]

Tillard was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 16 February, 1906, vice Pocklington.[2] In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 8 December, 1903, he was placed on the Retired List, at his own request, on 22 June, 1909.[3]

He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 22 July, 1910,[4] and to the rank of Admiral on 4 June, 1913.[5]
