Life & Career

The son of Lt. Col. F. H. Plumer of the Indian Army, retired.

Plumer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1920.

Plumer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1928.

Plumer was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 January, 1935 and was promoted to the rank of Commander on 17 April, 1940.
