Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Arthur Jennings, (26 October, 1868 – 28 April, 1950) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Jennings was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 1 April, 1895.[1]

Jennings was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 18 February, 1912. In 1912, he apparently neglected to destroy cordite in Endymion, which the Admiralty deemed a neglect of duty.[2]

Jennings was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 May, 1916.[3]

Retired at his own request on 25 July, 1922, Jennings was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 May, 1924.[4]
