H.M.S. Foresight was one of eight Sentinel class Scout Cruisers completed for the Royal Navy in 1905.

Service

In March, 1910 she was a scout cruiser for the Second Destroyer Flotilla, part of the Second Division, Home Fleet.

In November, 1911 she was part of the Third Destroyer Flotilla.

She re-commissioned at Chatham on 1 July, 1913.[8]

Foresight collided with Falcon in January, 1914.[9]

By July, 1914, Foresight was part of the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla, a Patrol Flotilla in Home and Atlantic Waters.

In May 1915, she moved to the Sixth Light Cruiser Squadron.
