Service
Centaur recommissioned at Malta on 19 June, 1920.[8]
She paid off at Devonport on 4 October, 1923.[9]
Centaur was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 8 April, 1925[10] to replace Douglas as flagship of the Atlantic Destroyers.[11]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on on 3 January, 1928.[12]
Centaur was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 4 September, 1930 for duty as flagship for destroyers of the Atlantic Fleet.[13]
Alterations
Centaur and her sister Concord were among the first light cruisers to be completed with a director.[14] They also had the first Evershed Bearing Indicator installations for light cruisers, possibly upon completion.[15]
