The Twenty-fourth Fleet Sweeping Flotilla was a formation of fleet minesweepers of the Royal Navy formed at the end of the Great War.
History
January, 1919
With the war now over, the formation is born, employing seven sloops that had previously been in the First Sloop Flotilla. Here, they would continue to serve beside their old formation, and the Eighth Fleet Sweeping Flotilla, out of Queenstown. They would remain as shown, operating out of Queenstown, until some time in March. The Senior Officer is in Snowdrop.[1]
