H.M.S. Snowdrop was one of twelve Azalea Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Upon her completion, Snowdrop joined the First Sloop Flotilla in November, 1915. She remained with them until December, 1918, when she was assigned to the Twenty-fourth Fleet Sweeping Flotilla. She would carry that formation's Senior Naval Officer until some time in April when the flotilla was disbanded, after which she was paid off.
