H.M.S. Ardent was one of eleven "A" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Ardent was reduced to Reserve at Malta on 31 January, 1931.[1]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 18 October, 1932 for service with the Third Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[2]
