H.M.S. A 10 was one of thirteen "A" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
At the outset of the war, A 10 was assigned to the Ninth Submarine Flotilla, which was essentially the Clyde Local Defence Flotilla. She served there until about August, 1916 when the formation was redesignated the Seventh Submarine Flotilla, at which time she appears to have fallen out of regular service.
