H.M.S. Kent was one of seven Kent Class cruisers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Chatham on 25 June, 1928.[6]
In mid-1931 she was with the Fifth Cruiser Squadron on the China Station.[7] She re-commissioned at Chatham on 30 July.[8]
