H.M.S. Ambuscade was a Yarrow-built prototype destroyer built for the Royal Navy in the mid 1920s. She and Thornycroft's Amazon helped determine the design factors that would inform more significant post-war construction, culminating in the "A" and "B" Class Destroyers of 1929-30.

There was an earlier Ambuscade launched in 1913.
