Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Benjamin Richardson (10 October, 1875 – 3 December, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 27 September, 1899.

Richardson was appointed Gunner in Command of the destroyer Surly on 18 August, 1913.[1]

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 27 September, 1914.

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1922.

Richard was appointed in command of St. Martin from 6 February, 1923 to 6 June, 1924.

Richard was appointed in command of the tug St. Fugan (or similar), tender to Excellent, from 27 June, 1924 to 10 October, 1925.

Richardson was placed on the Retired List due to age on 10 October, 1925. He was advanced to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 12 August, 1930.
