Commander (retired) Frank Lumb, R.N. (21 August, 1885 – 24 November, 1945) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Kensington. His father was named James (last name possibly Law, but likely Lumb), a barrister at law.
Lumb was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1907.
Lumb was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1915.
Post-War
Lieutenant-Commander (G) Lumb was appointed in command of the light cruiser Royalist in January, 1920.[1]
Lumb was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1929.
