Commander Michael George Borradaile Cox, R.N., Retired (8 August, 1892 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

His father, Edmund Cox claimed a title which could not be substantiated and his name was not included in the Home Office Roll.

Cox was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1915.

Cox was appointed in command of the patrol boat P64 on 20 March, 1918.[1]

Post-War

On 9 December 1919, he applied for General Service in Department of Small Craft in the Royal Australian Navy, and he was then loaned to them for two years.

Cox was placed on the Retired List at his own request with a gratuity, dated 18 May, 1920. He was discharged from the R.A.N. on 7 December, 1921.
