Rear-Admiral Hugh Turnour England, Royal Navy (26 April, 1884 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

England was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 July, 1905.[1]

England was appointed in command of the destroyer Colne on 31 December, 1909.[2]

England was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 July, 1913.[3]

England was appointed in command of the destroyer Chelmer on 11 October, 1913.[4]

England was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1915.[5]

On 1 February, 1920, he was appointed in command of the sweeping sloop Valerian.[6]

He was appointed in command of the light cruiser Yarmouth on 3 December, 1923 for a voyage. He appears to have done this on a temporary basis.
