Rear Admiral John Hubbard (19 May, 1849 – 30 May, 1932) served in the United States Navy.
He is not the same man as the younger John Flavel Hubbard.
Life & Career
Born in Maine in 1849, Hubbard was appointed to the Navy on 25 July, 1866 in the state of Arizona.[1]
Hubbard was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral on 25 October, 1909 and was retired in accordance with the provisions of Section 1444, R.S. at the age of 62 years as a Rear-Admiral on 19 May, 1911 with 24 years and three months of sea service.[2]
