Launch

Canada was launched as Almirante Latorre on 27 November, 1913 by Mme. Edwards, wife of the Chilean Minister.

Alterations

Canada was fitted with director gear for her main battery sometime between May and December, 1915.[2] Her secondary directors were installed in February, 1918.[3]
