Rear-Admiral John Moore Casement (13 September, 1877 – ?) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
He is not the same man as John Casement born 1854, nor another John Casement born in 1880.
Life & Career
Casement was appointed in command of the destroyer Blanche in May 1916,[1] and was supporting the Fourth Battle Squadron at the Battle of Jutland.[2]
In December 1916, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Comus.[3] He commanded light cruiser Comus at the surrender of the High Sea Fleet.[Citation needed]
In August 1921, he assumed command of the battlecruiser Courageous.[4]
He served as captain of Benbow from October 1924 until April 1926.[5]
