William Frogley Dale

Lieutenant-Commander William Frogley Dale, R.N., Retired (3 December, 1851 – 14 December, 1931) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Dale was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 17 March, 1881.

Dale was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 3 September, 1900.

Dale was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 26 June, 1904.

Retired due to age on 3 December, 1906.

Dale was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 3 August, 1915.

Dale was appointed in command of the battleship Prince of Wales on 15 April, 1918.[1]
