Walter Henry Poole

Commander R.N.R. Walter Henry Poole, R.D. (24 August, 1887 – 17 March, 1945) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Poole was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 August, 1915.[1]

Poole was appointed in command of the destroyer Thrasher on 30 April, 1918.[2] An inspection by Captain Monroe in the midyear was notedly satisfactory.[3]

He was demobilised on 25 January, 1919.[4]

Poole was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 August, 1923.[5]

Poole was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 31 December, 1930.[6]
