U.S.S. K-7 was one of eight Haddock Class submarines completed for the U.S. Navy.
She was commissioned at Mare Island on 1 December, 1914 with Lieutenant Joseph V. Ogan in command.
Service
In early 1916, K-3, K-4, K-7 and K-8 were based in Pearl Harbor, their crews living aboard U.S.S. Alert.[4]
