Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Thomas Hugh Geoffrey Barton (1 July, 1890 – 15 July, 1939) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of a Major R. Barton.
Barton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 January, 1913.[1]
Barton was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 036 on 28 December, 1913.[2]
Barton was appointed in command of the destroyer Lyra on 16 December, 1917.[3]
Post-War
Barton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 July, 1922.
