Jäger was a torpedo gunboat completed for the Imperial German Navy in 1883.

Service

Commissioned on 24 July, 1883 for experimental work. She proved ineffective in service—her unresponsive handling was fatal for a torpedo-armed warship—and was stricken on 13 May, 1889.[9]
