S.M.S. G 137 was a torpedo boat completed for the Imperial German Navy in 1907.

Construction

G 137 was a modified version of the G 132 class equipped with an experimental Parsons System 6 turbine engine driven by four Marine-type boilers.[9][10]

Service

G 137 was commissioned on 24 July, 1907. She became a training boat in 1914 and was overhauled in 1914-1915 at the Kiel Navy Yard. Renamed T 137 on 27 September, 1916, she served in the postwar Reichsmarine until being stricken on 22 March, 1921 and broken up at Wilhelmshaven after being sold on 28 May, 1921 for 210,000M.[11]
