Percy Nono Fletcher
Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. Percy Nono Fletcher, R.D. (21 June, 1877 – 13 January, 1946) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Fletcher was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 4 January, 1914.
Through most of 1915, he delivered good service in the armed merchant cruiser Himalaya.
In March 1918 he was relieved of command of the destroyer Crane after grounding her. He was appointed to the armed merchant cruiser Ebro as first officer on 22 May. On 27 July, he was appointed to her as first and gunnery officer, remaining in her until 24 January, 1919.[1]
Following special service out of Malta on behalf of Admiral Troubridge, Fletcher was demobilised on 20 June 1920 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 4 January, 1922. He was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 21 June, 1922.[2]
