Captain (retired) Maurice Baldwin Raymond Blackwood, D.S.O. (22 September, 1882 – 26 August, 1941) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career
Born in Malta, the son of Sir Francis Blackwood, Bart..
Blackwood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1904.[1]
Blackwood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1912.
Blackwood was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1916.
Blackwood was appointed in command of the trawler Thomas Twinsy and for command of Unit 4 group of trawlers on 9 November, 1917. Superseded on 7 January, 1918.
Post-War
Blackwood was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 10 July 1922.
Blackwood was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 22 September, 1927.
