Commander (retired)John Robert Garstin Harvey, (7 April, 1904 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Harvey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1928.[1]

He was placed on the Retired List on 24 January, 1934.[2]

Harvey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 January, 1936.[3]

Harvey was promoted to the rank of Commander on 7 April, 1944.[4]
