Lieutenant-Commander (retired) John Myers, D.S.C.* (17 August, 1863 – January, 1956) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Myers was promoted to the rank of Boatswain in November 1890.

Myers served in Magnificent from 16 August 1904 until she paid off on 5 November, 1906.

He was promoted to the rank of Chief Boatswain on 14 February, 1911.

Myers was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 June, 1915.

He retired on 21 July 1919.

Myers was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 12 June, 1923.
