Captain R.N.R. (retired) John Eugene Haswell, R.D., R.N.R. (5 August, 1879 – 28 October, 1959) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Haswell was born at sea in the ship Cape Verde.
Haswell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. with a seniority date of 28 April, 1911.
Haswell was appointed in command of the destroyer Test on 28 June, 1918.[1]
Haswell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. with a seniority date of 28 April, 1919.
Haswell was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. with a seniority date of 31 December, 1923.
Haswell was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 23 March, 1929.
